Matt is the founding principal at CPH Consultants and has been working in civil engineering and the design and consulting profession for more than 30 years. His expertise includes all aspects of planning, civil/site design, and entitlement for both public works and private sector projects of varying size, type, and design challenges. Matt started CPH with a mission to teach the next generation of professionals the practice of civil engineering, skills of design, and value of their role as consultants to the client, project, and community. He has led multi-discipline design teams and represented owners as their lead design professional on a variety of project types and sizes, including some of the most recognized and complex community master plans in the Puget Sound and Pacific Northwest.

CPH Consultants is a full-service civil engineering, landscape architecture, planning, and land use consulting company founded with the premise and understanding that successful projects are the result of a strong and energetic team led by clear communication and competent professionals. We take an intentionally collaborative and open approach to site planning, design, and consulting for an efficient, effective, and inclusive process that results in quality projects. The result so far, after nearly 15 years of operation, is a growing firm with an established reputation for delivering a higher level of service, trust, and responsiveness to the client. The CPH team has worked together with its clients and consultant partners to successfully complete a diverse variety of public infrastructure and site development projects throughout the Puget Sound, Washington, and other western states. A testament to the success of our clients, team, and approach to execution on every project is the many long-term relationships that have resulted—relationships that we value greatly and look forward to continuing to expand on.
